Data collection & Usage

In order to participate in Spree4.com auctions, we do need some personal information from you so that we can process your order. We would therefore like to request that you agree to the collection and storage of some of your data. With your consent, personal data are recorded and processed by Spree4.com, in particular:

• When you register with Spree4.com

• When you buy account credits

• When you win an auction

• We will only collect your account or credit card data if this is necessary in order to process payment.

Customer data is stored and processed according to the "Data Protection Act 1998". Should you wish, your email address will be used to receive our news updates, until such time that you unsubscribe from these updates.

Personal data such as your name and address, etc. are used to process delivery of your item after an auction is won. We require your e-mail address so that we can stay in contact with you by e-mail and to communicate any aftersales issues. In addition, we need your account data or credit card data to process payment transactions you request on your Spree4.com account. We also use your personal data to communicate with you regarding orders, to process auctions, marketing retentions and to process other transactions. Similarly, we use your data in order to inform you of marketing promotions or to enable third parties authorised by us to perform technical, logistical, or other services. All data is stored securely on our servers.

Usage

You have the right, at any time, to free information, authorization, deletion or suspension of your personal data. Please contact us at privacy@spree4.com or send us your enquiry by post or fax. Deletion requests cannot always be honoured because of trading and taxation storage limit rules of up to 10 years. According to the Data Protection Act 1998, the suspension of data is valid in such cases.

Disclosure of data to third parties

Your personal information may be passed on to third parties only if this is necessary to process delivery or a payment transaction (eg. a transport company responsible for shipping and a credit institute responsible for payment), or a business transaction with our partners. Revoking consent & deleting your account

You can delete or deactivate your Spree4.com account at any time. When you delete your membership, your personal data is removed from our database unless we are required to save the data. Please allow up to five business days until your information is completely removed from all records.
